Tempest Vineyards in Amity OR was a small winery (35 acres) from 1988 until the death of the owner & wine maker in 2004

 

Has anyone ever had Tempest Vineyards wine, and what did you think about the wine?

The reason I asked is because an auction this month has some Tempest wine http://ogallerie.com/auctions/2020-03/index.shtml

 

Without being able to find any reviews of either type, I made bids based on general reports for the two years involved... I've been outbid (I wasn't going to bid high without knowing anything about the wine) so there goes that idea
