In a recent Public Policy Poll, 13% of Americans said they would prefer to vote for a giant meteor hitting the Earth....

What does this say about us and our outlook on the future?

    It's not that we're cynical, it's that those are all pretty awful choices. The poll should have given "Third Party" as an option.

    Although, I suspect there's an element of humor involved in that poll and the responses of the respondents.

    I admit, I laughed out loud for 10 minutes when I first saw this.  But it's saying something about our collective attitude.

    3rd party choices rank well below Giant Meteor. 

         Libertarian Gary Johnson is barely at  5%

         Green Party nominee Jill Stein comes in at just 2%

    Oh...it gave third-party options? You know what? I'd probably have picked meteor too because that's hilarious. It'll be less funny if it actually happens though. The US elections are taking place during Adobe MAX, if I'm not mistaken. I hope everyone goes through the process to absentee vote!
