The deadline for Adobe CC for Linux is obviously Jan 14 2020 when Windows 7 support ends. Is there a chance the new linux version will be available before then?

Why would there be a deadline? What does it matter if Windows 7 support is ending? Adobe CC products run fine on Windows 10.

I'm not sure I understand why the planned deprecation of an older Windows version would create any kind of deadline, nor any impetus to have a Linux version. The two don't seem related to me. Am I missing a key point?

(Off I go to read the discussion John has linked above)

I'm also confused why Windows 7 ending would have any sort of deadline-imposing power. I use Adobe stuff on Windows 10 just fine.

Out of principle. Its malware, spyware and adware.

Well, yeah, but you can dig into the settings and shut all that crap off.

See the LONG discussion in Creative Cloud for Linux (Ubuntu)

As far as I know, Adobe has not explicitly said that there WILL be a Linux version, only that the developers are aware of the comments
