Here's a challenge and a small poll. How many times a day do you

close "google play music" app on your Samsung phone?

I think I hold the record: 34 times per day, at last count.

Can you beat my record?

Hi, thanks, I've had that suggestion before, but application manager: only app showing is: Galaxy Apps.

seems google has made disabling it 'invisible' ? lol

So, I'm running at about 22 quit 'google play music' app today.

Which Galaxy version?

Do you see an ALL tab in your application manager settings? Click that and find Google play music to disable.

No. . . there's only a Galaxy app icon showing in Galaxy 5. I can't get to any actual apps individually. So I've continued closing the Google Play Music app a couple time per hour or more.

Can't you disable it in your settings?

If you don't use any music app (especially not the one in question), there's an easy cure:

  1. Go to Settings→Apps→Manage Apps.
  2. Go to the All tab.
  3. Scroll the list until you find Google Play Music.
  4. Tap the entry.
  5. On the screen which opens on the tap, you'll find a button labeled Disable -- push it.
