Questions

I'm in search of retro fonts from the 60s era. When I search for "retro," "60s," psychedlic," etc, nothing turns up. Oddly enough, when I search the free font sites, I get results right away. But since I'm paying for Adobe, I'd prefer to use Adobe fonts. Any suggestions?

Illustrator　CC 23.0.2 を使っています。TrueTypeフォントを使い、Windowsで作成したファイルをMacで開くと、「ドキュメントで使用されているフォントは、システムにないか、形式が異なります。」のメッセージが表示されてしまいます。ただ「このドキュメントを開きますか？」で「開く」を選ぶと普通に表示されます。Macには同じTrueTypeフォントがインストールされています。フォントは「HG正楷書体-PRO」です。フォントには関係ないようで、TTEditで作成したフォントで試しましたがやはりエラーが表示されました。Macで作成したファイルをWindowsで開いてもエラーが表示されます。

I uploaded our company's fonts to Spark so that I could set up branded templates, but they don't display properly. They came out looking sort of like Garamond, which is nowhere close; ours is a sans-serif font, similar to Verdana. Anyone else encounter this problem? Is there something I'm missing about how to add fonts so they'll display properly?

I am in the designproces for a clients website and chose the Typekit Webfont Kinesis Pro 3 for the website, the logo and planning to use it for print to, later on.Now I see that till December 2019 the terms of use permits agency reselling untill December 2019. After that my client will need a Creative Cloud subscription of their own. But I cannot find anywhere on the helmpages what such an subscription will cost. Can someone tell me, of give me a link to the proper information??Thanks in advance.

Why are all the windows (system and foreign) fonts available in Adobe software?Isn't is possible to only use the fonts from the folder that already exists?Whenever I open the fonts list in Illustrator I have the impression to look inside a thrashbag.I mean really how difficult is it to set a fonts folder location in your software?Please remove the windows fonts from Adobe software ... please!!!

Does anyone know the history behind the creation of the Kepler font (https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/kepler). What were the artists's inspirations when creating it? What kind of font it would be categorized as?

Hello, very much new to Adobe products especially those I'm asking about.I'm looking at Spark, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator and InDesign.I run a social media fan account and I design photos with text across them, usually with a texture or filter applied to the photo to enhance it.  I've been playing around with a couple of other apps (non-Adobe) but they're not quite what I need.  One doesn't let you upload your own fonts (ie purchased ones) on iOS and the other doesn't have that ability or enough textures/filters (only about 20, which get very samey).Will Spark do all that for me?  I've never used Photoshop (it looks daunting), Lightroom seems similar to PS from what I've read and Illustrator/InDesign might be too much for what I need.  I don't run a webpage and don't see that happening in this case, it's literally a Facebook group (would be nice to design a header) and Twitter (where the photo/text posts go).Would appreciate any help or advice and again, apol

Hi, I would like to ask 2 Question.1. If I buy font license(ex. Myriad Pro) to use on commercial video(AD), does it has any additional cost ? 2. When I made Commercial video which used by Adobe software(After Effect Etc.), can I use Adobe Font for no additional cost? 

Ok, so the issue I'm having is that I am attempting to find a way to recreate this style (attached image) within photoshop for multiple types of fonts if anyone knows how to do this or a workaround that would be great thanks.

I searched. No one has come a usable fix as far as I can tell. I don't know how much is a Mac OS or Adobe issue but there MUST be a way to delete/hide fonts from a dropdown menu. I spent a good deal of time deleting foreign fonts from Mac's Font Book but they still showed up in my dropdown list for PS/Illust/InDesign.

Tenho associação com Creative cloud, o que me dá direito de usar as fontes.Normalmente quando faço um trabalho, fecho o arquivo em pdf e envio esse pdf para imprir, ok sem problemas.Porém agora o cliente está me pedindo os arquivos abertos e fiz um package e ele não salva as fontes no package.1- Como funciona a questão de licença de fontes, caso o cliente não tenha associação ao creative cloud e precise editar os arquivos que irei enviar?2- Outra questão como faço para comprar o font folio da adobe no Brasil?Obrigado

Hi We run a community magazine produced on Indesign and have just upgraded to CC from CS6.  As this is a 48 page magazine with 20 pages of adverts I need to be able to use December 2018 as a template for the 2019 issues.  However, when I open the document, Indesign says there are 51 missing fonts.  The process of altering and checking each font will be very onerous - is there a way of migrating the fonts to CC in a batch?  I have also just upgraded to IOS Mojave - which was the spur to upgrade to Indesign CC.  The copy deadline is fairly close so any help to shortcut this task would be appreciated.

Recently moved from a purchased (locally installed) CS6 Apps Suite to CC. I have 100s of app files (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) created in the CS6 Suite that are looking for fonts that are not available in the CC versions.I have all the Type 1 fonts (PFB/PFM) required by my app files available on a CD which I’ve added to over many years of Adobe product ownership. How do I make the Type 1 fonts available to the CC apps?OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.Thank you for your assistance.

Hello everyone,Recently I've installed this font called Iced Earth right here: Iced Earth Font | dafont.com The reason I'm installing this because I'm working on a Logo Commission for a Client, and this font is requested.The problem is, when I open any Adobe CC programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign it doesn't appear at all on the font list.I tried it with another program called WordPad and it works just fine. But not with the Adobe programs..I use Windows 8.1 and the font is a True Type (.ttf).Is there a solution to this? If so, let me know!I'll love to get this commission done as soon as possible.Thanks!- Sherif

Hi Everyone,We wanted to know if there is any usefulness to generate custom fonts whose glyphs are a combination of bold and italic typeface. We call these glyphs “Hybrid Glyphs”. So, to say, each glyph is segmented into regions and each region may have a different typeface replicated.In terms of workflow, the user selects the font, say regular, and defines the segment marks in terms of how low it is from the font ascender line. Let say he marks two points at 20% and 50% above from the fonts descender (total font height=ascender-descender). This will generate three segments. For each segment he then may choose a different typeface to be replicated. For example, he may choose Bold-Italic-Bold. This will even be possible if the designer does not have the bold and italic typefaces of the font. I am looking to purchase the Font Folio Education Essentials for my classroom. When I called the number on this page to order, no one knows what I am talking about and tried to re-rout me.( https://www.adobe.com/products/fontfolio-education-essentials.html)Why is this product so hard to oder? I have a visual design classroom, but I am not interested in ordering a subscription to TypeKit - our district is too big and has too many hoops to jump for that.Can anyone please tell me how to order this?

In AI or PS, when I use Sourcehan fonts typesetting a lot of text will be very slow. Makes me unbearable. Hi thereI have recently selected a font in our new branding. Gotham Book. But very disappointed to see it is not a font on Adobe typekit. Interested to know why this isn't available? Any suggestions of similar fonts?

I can't stay logged into Typekit on my Adobe ID for more than a couple of seconds before getting logged out.  I am using FireFox Quantum as my browser on a Windows 7 PC, with a Photography Subscription and want to expand Photoshop's font library.Typekit keeps auto signing me out but couldn't reply as it is locked, but an Adobe staff in the thread suggested adding certain cookies as exceptions.  I did just that and it has not solved my problem.The date the thread was created (23-Sep-2015) shows this issue has been known for 2 years, the original thread is still marked "not answered" which doesn't bode well.The list of fonts I have on my rig by default is lacking, to say the least, and most of them look so similar to each other they are almost carbon copies.
