Hi people, can I use Adobe Fontfolio 9.0 under MacOSX Yosemite?

Does anyone know that if we purchase these fonts below, if they would be provided for use as web font, not desktop?http://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/store/html/index.cfm?event=displayFontPackage&code=1712we only need webfonts only....not much chance of talking to anyone in adobe about sales...they dont exist.Because there Adobe Caslon Pro font versions that are not available for the web, and if you try to convert them they will not convert?

Adobe Text Pro was included in our purchase of Adobe Acrobat, but it is version 1.015. How do I upgrade it to the newest release?

I use Myriad Pro font in my book. I'm going to publish it as a pdf file. The pdf file embeds Myriad Pro@. Can I publish the book under a Creative Commons license? (Creative Commons — Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International — CC BY-ND 4.0)

I want to make a logo for a dog that will display on photos of him, and across the bottom of videos of his. He is a popular dog on youtube. I do not want the font to be too cartoony, though I'd like it can be a fun font. Some keywords that convey the feeling I'd like to get across: fun, strong, fast and adorable. He is a husky and sort of looks a bit like a wolf. Can anyone make any suggestions?Thanks.

Dante font used in manuscript … when I try to save as a pdf document in Microsoft Word whole pages change their look, with wide gaps forming between certain paragraphs or sections. This does not happen with other fonts.

Hi,I have a copy of my PSFONTS folder that sat directly on C drive on my win xp PC with many fonts in there, and need to now have these on my Win7 64bit pro PC.I see they are .pfb files  e.g. there is Brodyn.pfbI see a folder in PSFONTS called PFM and in there is again Brodyn for example this time its Brodyn.pfm and its a Type 1 Font it says, double click it and I see the font image in various point sizes.I did try a simple copy paste to C drive on my win7 64bit pro pc of the folder PSFONTS but a program I use that should see postscript type 1 fonts is unable to see e.g. BrodynWhat's the procedure for Win7 ?  Knowing my luck its not a simple copy paste as it was with XP !Merlin

I have been so focused on finding out whether or not my older Adobe versions will run with Yosemite, I forgot to check on my font management software. According to http://roaringapps.com/ I am out of luck with Suitcase Fusion. Mavericks doesn't even support it. What?! That kind of blows my mind. For a company that claims their software is perfect for Creative Cloud users, this just doesn't make any sense. I'm curious what everyone else is using for font management. I know there are other ones out there but I wanted to avoid buying a new one. I know I should probably go to the Apple forums for this, but since i'm here I thought i'd put the question out. I just bought a font and now I can't download it.I actually accidentally bought the italic version of the font, which I didn't want. That download worked fine.I realized my error and paid for the standard font version, but now it won't let me download it and says I must wait 24 hours!I called the help line and it was a terrible mess of automated options and I couldn't reach anyone. I tried the online chat help and no-one would contact with me.I'm on a deadline and I need this font now. Why is there such a long delay to get what I paid for? This is so unprofessional. I wish I could just cancel my purchases now.

Hi. I have a client who is interested in purchasing 6 licenses to Adobe Font Folio (FF) 11.1 for Mac. I know about the $2,999 5-pack. I have the following questions regarding FF licensees. · If I purchase the $2,999 5-pack can I purchase a single license? If so, what would I purchase?· I noticed that I can purchase a single license from CDW (TLP) for $469.99 and a (CLP) $443.99. What is the difference?. Which one would you recommend I buy?· If I can purchase 5 single licenses for less than the 5-pack why wouldn't I purchase 5 single licenses?Thanks for your help. - Brent

How do I disable typekit. It's interfering with all my desktop files and I don't want that. I'm having to assign type everytime I open a file. That's never happened to me before this Typekit and IU'm also getting this error. Please see attached image. I asked this question a couple days ago and someone responded saying it wasn't a Typekit issue but something else and I beg to differ.Please just tell me how to get rid of Typekit and I'll be happy.Thank you

I recently purchased the font Centaur MT Std and am using a Windows computer. I am having a problem in Microsoft Word where everytime I use italics, it bumps the next line down so that it looks like it is double spaced instead of single spaced. It is really messing up my formatting. Also, I can't seem to figure out how to make the numbers proportional old style within a style guide. I found where to change the option but it doesn't actually change anything on the screen. Any help with either of these questions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have several Adobe Type 1 fonts that I purchased some years ago. Since then, I have had to purchase a new PC running Win7 instead of XP. And Adobe Type Manager is extinct. How can I load these fonts onto my new computer?

So Rosewood STD came with my new macbook and I absolutely love it. What are the rules for using it on:1) Websites (just a banner image)2) Merchandise3) Part of a logo4) Video TitleI've been searching everywhere for rules but nothing is really clear. Am I supposed to buy a license or is it a free font since it's by Adobe and came with this macbook?I need to start designing soon, so it would be great if someone could get back to me ASAP. Thanks!

I recently had to move to a PC running windows 7, I'm unable to install any fonts. I'm not using any font management software because I only need to use a handful of typefaces. The individual folders on the disk (old - 2002ish) don't have extensions. They're separated into 2 files; i.e. "AGarBol"  0KB and "._AGarBol" 56KB the PC doesn't recognize either of them. I've tried adding a .pfb / .pfm extension on both, it starts to install the .pfm file but errors out. HELP!

Hi,Ik heb een Word document met chinese fonts. Die kan ik prima plakken in bijvoorbeeld mail. Maar wanneer ik copy paste naar Premiere dan worden veel characters niet herkend (daar verschijnt dan een vierkantje voor in de plaats). Ook in After Effects. Ik snap ook niet dat de setting voor fonts op bijvoorbeeld Helvetica kan blijven staan. Helvetica heeft toch geen chinese tekens embed. Anyway, ik snap het niet, zie ook niet wat ik aan dat nieuwe Typekit van Adobe heb in deze en Google heeft ook nog geen antwoorden. Wie kan me helpen? Waarschijnlijk zal het antwoord te laat komen, zal ik met plaatjes improviseren voor nu, want de deadline is gister, as always… Maar een helder antwoord wordt erg gewaardeerd!

Our customer is creating applications using In Design.    These applications are exported into PDF format for viewing on mobile devices.    Is there any additional licensing needed from Adobe in this scenario?Also, in the future (not now) if the customer would like to look into perhaps fonts to be embedded in a app the customer is creating, what licensing would be needed? Thanks in advance!

I only have OSX 10.6.8 and am not planning to upgrade.This appears to mean I cannot install the Creative Cloud desktop app so cannot use Typekit.Is there a work around.
