Delivering fonts from Typekit to my desktop — one of the reasons I bought a subscription.Since the the launch of CC, font and file sharing features deliver only one message "Comming soon".When to expect these features to go live??
Hello,Is Adobe Font Folio Education Essentials 11 available to students in other countries besides USA and Canada? I'm pursuing my bachelors degree in engineering in Finland.Cheers,Pätilä
This image is from the same PSD, exact same font, color, aliasing, etc. But there are clearly some aliasing differencies. The bottom line was typed on:System: MacPS: CCColor Profile: North America General Purpose 2The PSD was then sent to the following system and they typed the top line.System: WindowsPS: 5.5Color Profile: Europe General Purpose 2The strange part is that these both exist at the same time in the same PSD, with the same charactor settings. I can add to line one, and it continues in that aliasing, and vise versa with line 2. These are the settings for both lines, the ONLY difference is that on the MAC (bottom line), "Contextual Alterates" is checked and grayed out. The PC user doesn't have this option. There is no way for the Mac user to unselect this setting to see if it is the cause for the inconsistency. Any ideas? Thanks!
I need to purchase a font by the name of Heiti TC and SC from Adobe. I believe it is an Adobe font. I have called the customer support for SEA, and they have given me a list of resellers to refer to, but none of them are clueless about it. I need to purchase this font urgently and need a quote to present to the client. Since the customer support for Adobe is unhelpful and also their resellers, can someone from the staff team help me out on this? It is ridiculous to know that I might need to change the font to another one, if this font is not available for sale. Does this mean I illegally convert the font for the client to use? Please help as I need this font to be licensed to 20 or more computers and it has to be compatible with PC platforms too, and not only Macs. PLEASE HELP!!!Forgot to mention I am based in Singapore, and so is my client.
Hi..I know Adobe systmes have that font is Futura Std.I think the Futura Std and Futura LT is very different.I know Futura LT is free font. But I wonder whether Adobe systems have Futura LT font. Please respond fast.
My previous suite was CS4 and since I have installed CC it seems like it has removed Myriad-Bold & Myriad-Roman from my computer which I have to assume were installed with CS4?I get errors that these font files are missing now when I open archived files and the unfortunate part is I have used this font in a lot of my released designs? Please help me fix this issue so that I no longer receive the errors or have the font missing when I open files?? Anyone have any information?I can replace it with Myriad Pro Bold and it seems ok but I would rather not have to "find font" and update everytime I open a file from our digital data released folders. Our digital data files are stored in a location that I don't have 'write' permissions to so I make the change to print the files and then they revert back to the missing font when I close.
I just purchased Garamond Premier Pro font, downloaded it - it is in my download file. How do I transfer it to the Microsoft font file AND the ID CS6 font file? Thanks.
I want to create an eBook using a propriatory authoring tool and I want to use the Adobe fonts that I have bought. Although it looks like the licence for the fonts I have does allow ebedded print & preview, this post http://forums.adobe.com/message/5199255#5199255 suggests that if my book isn't in one of the formats listed I'm not allowed to use those fonts in the eBook. I have just spent 45 frustrating minutes with the Call Centre failing to get an answer to this - does anyone know if I can use these fonts? The eBook produced will sit in a container app that has full DRM - no one will be able to grab the code. The format is similar to ePub2 but with customisations.Any help is VERY much appreciated.
I know this is a dumb question, but the font I just bought isn't in my download folder. I can't find it by doing a search on the font name, and the receipt doesn't tell me where it went.
I was interested in downloading the Trajan Pro fonts. I noticed that a lot of websites offer it for free, but when I went to the Adobe website it is $135 to purchase and download this font. I am one person trying to download this for my home PC. Can anyone tell me why there is this discrepancy? Is there any reason that I shouldn't get the free version? What is the benefit of spending $135? Any help would be appreciated. Please respond as soon as you can, I am trying to finish this document tonight. Thank you.
Trajan Sans has extralight, light, regular, semibold, bold, and blackFor normal interoffice use, would you go with light or regular? regular just looks a slightly bold. I'm not sure though

Assignment: Type out two fonts (A–Z, 0–9) and smash them together, splice their DNA. Take the spine from one, and mesh it with the stems or serifs of another. Create two sets of upper-case letters, and numbers 0-9.I have googled, YouTubed, searched on Adobe. I'm having a problem figuring out how to "splice" the text and combine it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I'm doing my university assignment on Helvetica Neue and I've got to design it in Indesign. I have CS6 but when I went to find itin the fonts, it wasn't there. I'm using windows 7 but at university they use MAC computers. Please tell me it doesn't depend on what computer platform you are using? Thanks.
Hi,I just purchased this font. I've followed the installation instructions, placing the .otf file in Mac HD>Library>Fonts>, with all the other font files. The name appears correctly in Adobe product font lists, but does not give the correct characters (just black dots or boxes with an x in them). In Word, it appears in the font drop down menu as a line of gibberish, although does appear correctly in the window when selected. It likewise gives incorrect characters as per the adobe products. How do I go about getting it to work properly? Thanks for your help!
I purchase Adobe Futura 1 & 2 back in 1998. Unfortunately, many system upgrades later they've become corrupted. My whole-system backups don't go back far enough to get uncorrupted fonts, and the ZIP download I archived from Adobe jus hast the MacOS Classic-only downloader app.Any ideas on how to get clean copies?

I have adobe Univers LT Std font purchased and installed on my PC, but there is a problem when I try to use it on the webpage. The font has otf format. I noticed that Chrome and FireFox use different font-family names for this font. FireFox 25.0 seems to use OT Family name (Univers LT Std) as a font-family value, and Chrome 30 uses PS font name (UniversLTStd). So I ended up writing my css like this:p {font-family: UniversLTStd, Univers LT Std;}Is there a way to avoid writing multiple family names for a single font to work in different browsers?I've checked the font's attributes with FontLab Studio:Basic set of font names: Family name: Univers LT Std 55PS font name: UniversLTStdFull name: Univers LT Std 55 RomanMenu name: Univers LT Std 55FOND name: Univers LT Std 55OpenType-specific names:OT Family name: Univers LT StdOT style name: 55 RomanMac name: Univers LT Std 55But didn't find any universal name to use as a font-family.
I am trying to identify the font in this logo:I've tried all the usual font finding sites, but none of them seem to recognize it. I know I've seen it on another logo, it's driving me nuts!Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

I emailed support yesterday but I have yet to receive a reply. Hopefully I'll get more traction here.I created a kit and added the required domains to the kit. However, none of the domains (including localhost:3000) work properly. I get an error like this in production as well as in development:XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://use.typekit.net/c/ea7697/league-gothic:n4,proxima-nova:n3:n4:n6.XJP:…6b72f246b18766bdc4164ec56558acb772944a5d370b592cffafc0f23d19323f79c8ecd7e5. Origin http://localhost:3000 is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin. What's weird is that the fonts appear to load properly. What's even weirder is that the site randomly hangs in production when I include the TypeKit code. I've had to disable TypeKit in production because of this. Any help is appreciated.
