Hello -

ATM Light 4.1 for Windows has just been posted on the adobe.com web site for free download. If you do not require the font management features that ATM Deluxe supplies, then this is the download you need. Note, the file size is about 12.7 megabytes to accomodate the universal installer.

If you are an ATM Deluxe 4.0 user, *do not* download this installer as it is incompatible with ATM Deluxe. ATM Deluxe 4.0 users who wish to upgrade to ATM Deluxe 4.1 must purchase the upgrade available for $29. via . This phone number is for upgrades only and the upgrade package does not include a serial number.

    Until someone can tell me something about 4 deluxe and Windows Me, I guess this might fill the bill

    Hmmm. It's true that Adobe doesn't provide extensive tech support for ATM Light, since it's a free product. But you can get tech support for your fonts, which happen to work with ATM Light. :)

    You seem to be having several problems. I'm not sure what you mean by "ad the fonts the regular way." I'm also unclear about "you can't see any of my fonts." Does this mean that you go into the ATM control panel, choose "browse for fonts" and then can't see the fonts?

    THe one thing I *can* tell you for sure, is that if ATM tells you your win.ini file is full, it must be. Essentially, this probably means you have too many fonts installed.

    I just downloaded 4.1 and have nothing but problems with Windows 98. I just got this computer and before (on an old machine) I was using 3.0. Unfortunately, one of my disks were damaged and I tried downloading 4.1. You can't see any of my fonts. It won't allow me to ad the fonts the regular way. It tells me the win.ini file is full. Considering over the last 13 years I've purchased the library from Adobe totally over $30,000 worth of fonts (MAC & IBM), not including versions of Pagemaker, ATM, Illustrator, Type reunion, Photoshop for both plus upgrades, no one will walk me through this problem. If they would check my records they would also see that I never called more than 6 times in the 13 years. When I finally need real help they aren't there. AS a service Bureau I am steaming.
    I am I the only one with these problems? All I want to do is load it with the rest of my software and be on my way. I myself have helped many people ont he MAC but I'n not that familiar with the IBM.
    Can anyone out there help me?????

    I'm a MAC person too but have an old ATM that has no handbook at my new job...There is no interactivity at all...My printer is having trouble with Garamond and says I can't use the attribute bold...I gave him all the fonts but the ATM does not have nts shwing even though my Quark does? They have windows 98 also...I need to get ATM deluxe and need to know about your problems with it because I am about to go down the same road
