Correct answer Barb Binder

Interesting—the site claims you can "Get instant access to your favorite Windows apps from Mac, Android, iOS or Windows."

From the support page:

The AppOnFly.rdp file is a Microsoft Remote Desktop Client, configured to your personal settings (username, password and security signature). The AppOnFly.rdp file is a secure, plain-text file (not an executable binary file) that cannot harm your computer.

The AppOnFly.rdp is your setup file that helps you to connect to your secure AppOnFly Remote Desktop located in the cloud where all your Apps are already configured and ready to use.

The AppOnFly.rdp file is downloaded to your computer or device from the Connect to AppOnFly section and is also sent to your mailbox as a „Welcome to AppOnFly“ email attachment together with your password.

So jacobc42534807, this app doesn't sound like it will give you Photoshop, but like it will allow you to access your copy of Photoshop installed on your computer from a device. Clearly, neither of us on the thread so far have any experience with it. If you try it, please come back and let us know what you think.

I hope jacobc42534807 didn't start the thread as disguised spam lol, but it certainly got our interest-maybe Adobe lawyers interest too

I interpret that to say that they are in violation of the agreement.

I would show some caution with this. What you are subscribing to appears to be some virtual servers based in the Czech Republic. I didn't attempt a trial but it looks as if it works simply by Remote Desk topping your device to a  Windows PC probably operating as a leased virtual server. Effectively all you are getting locally is a picture on your screen of what the remote computer is doing. This does allow however for a Windows version of Photoshop to be run on a Mac or an iPad after appropriate remote desktop software is installed. For the price that is being asked you will undoubtedly be sharing the connection with other people which might cause it to be very sluggish.

To be sure about performance you would have to undertake a trial, but whenever I have used remote control software there has always been a lag so whether you could do something like make a selection with a mouse or easily draw a path would be questions I would ask. You also tend to find Remote Desktop software runs at relatively low resolution to save bandwidth or alternatively heavily compresses so the system may not be suited to high resolution graphics.

What would definitely put me off is the cost €2.4 / month for Photoshop plus a further €8/month to access the remote computer. Why would anyone go for that when you can subscribe to Creative Cloud for around the same price and have not just Photoshop but also Lightroom on your own machine. There are of course security implications as well as Remote Desktops are not always encrypted for performance reasons. It's an interesting idea but for Photoshop alone is too expensive. If you used Office 365 with it maybe it becomes more practical.

Here is the promotional video which explains how it works

I wonder if Adobe know about this as this company is effectively reselling Photoshop for a fraction of the normal price? Possibly they have agreed some form of licence deal?

Well, Photoshop does not run on Android and iOS, so something sounds strange about the Link.
