Hello,

it looks like the installation for Acrobat Reader fails on the developer beta for the new Catalina.

The installer gets stuck at "Running package scripts".

Regards,

Alex

You won't get any support for Beta versions. By definition, it's not a compatible OS with any stable version, unless otherwise mentioned.

Hi,

We have released Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 19.021.20047 today. This version is compatible on macOS Catalina. For more information see the release notes here: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html

If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on your system, just update it (to version19.021.20047 either by using Help > Check for Updates, or wait for auto update to kick in and it will automatically update your installed reader application) and it should continue to work when you upgrade OS to macOS Catalina. For fresh installs, you can go to https://get.adobe.com/reader to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks,

Karan
