Can't enable 3d content in pdf

I've saved some 3d models into a 3d pdf from solidworks and they display and operate fine when i open the resulting pdf from my harddrive. When i open the same file from a network folder it brings up the "enable 3d content" request bar, but after i click it, it just hangs for a while until i click again in the empty view at which point it brings up the yellow "enable 3d content, yes-no", bar again. I can never get past trying to enable the 3d content.

Sometimes if i click around the document menus or edges of the page for a while before clicking on the empty main view, it will display as expected, but most of the time it just keeps asking to enable the feature that has already been approved several times. If i try to wait it out it just sits there with an empty page until i click on the empty page. is there a permanent "allow" 3d content option somewhere that might work around this altogether?

To enable 3D content permanently:

  • Go to Edit > Preferences > 3D & Multimedia and then select the Enable playing 3D content checkbox.

Hi

Inspite of this option enabled on all laptops, when users try to open 3D embedded content pdfs, it prompts to trust the file, only post which it opens. How can this prompt be over-ridden ?
