How can I make my PDF forms fillable on an iPad

Hello, I created several PDF forms using Adobe Acrobat DC on a pc running Windows 10. I saved them with a modify password and security settings that created the following document restrictions:

  • Printing: Allowed
  • Changing the Document: Not Allowed
  • Document Assembly: Not Allowed
  • Content Copying: Not Allowed
  • Content Copying for Accessibility: Allowed
  • Page Extraction: Not Allowed
  • Commenting: Not Allowed
  • Filling of form fields: Allowed
  • Signing: Allowed
  • Creation of Template Pages: Allowed

The forms work perfectly on a pc and data can be entered into all form fields. I sent the documents to a client and my client can open the forms on an iPad; however, the forms are not fillable on the iPad. I have an iPad so I installed the current version of Adobe Reader from the App Store and sure enough, it can open the forms for viewing but will not allow data to be entered into the form fields,

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you remove the security does that not leave the form open and then it can be copied and used by someone else?

Thanks for the prompt reply.

The visible content on the document is not my concern. My concern is with the functionality of the document being used by companies without having my permission. Document is taken by another company and edited for their company name and then used.

Any solutions to stop this would be appreciated. Basically looking to protect my proprietary IP.

Cheers
