How to align the text of a drop down menu box centered or right?

is it somehow possible to align the text of a drop down menu box centered or right and not left as it is set by default?

Not really. You can change the orientation of the entire field to Right to Left, though, which will cause the text to be aligned to the right, and the arrow will appear on the left. You can do it under Properties - Appearance.

Another option is to add tabs before the items in the list, so they can be centered, but that requires setting them using a script.
