acrobat 6.0 update Professional

New Here ,
Apr 26, 2017 Apr 26, 2017

Acrobat 6 is a very old product.

Acrobat Pro DC is the current version which is 5 or 6 versions beyond yours.

You can download a free 7-day trial and see if the newest version works better for you.

Hello Nancy, thanks for answer - but my problem is only update 6.0 to 6.1 to 6.2 and other till 6.6. I need the updates to active digital signed certificate documents (EU) and think that this very, very, very old product are able to do it. I search an expert for help.

Hello Herrmann,

I have moved this post to the appropriate forum for Acrobat.

However, I have to agree with Nancy. Acrobat 6 is so old that it's not likely to run properly on today's computers and operating systems. The latest version is still backwards compatible with older documents. You should try to test the free trial version to see if it can perform the tasks you need.

To revive an old thread... I'm currently using Acrobat 6 on an updated version of Windows 10. I'm going to purchase 9. Still old and creaky, but affordable.

Acrobat 9 is End of Life.  You cannot activate it beyond the trial.

For security & performance reasons, you really do need the latest version of Acrobat; not some relic you found on an auction site that's neither supported nor guaranteed to work, and could very well be infected with malware.
