Does Adobe provide a telephone number and support for Connect?

I am a trial user of Adobe Connect. I'm looking for an online meeting provider that will take the place of one I am currently using. While setting up a meeting, I could not find telephone support for Connect. It appeared to me that I would need to purchase additional support outside of Connect. If so, why doesn't Adobe provide telephone support as other online meeting providers?

Correct answer

I understand that Universal Voice allows both VOIP and Phone connections, but from what I read, it still needs a additional telephone service (at an additional cost) to integrate. Am I correct?

My mistake, I thought you meant that Universal Voice had something special; maybe integrated; maybe at no additional cost, but It seems that to use Connect, a person needs to buy to two services in order to get to receive one online web meeting application. It doesn't seem cost effective or efficient.

You do not have to use a teleconference for audio.  Many companies use VoIP within Connect exclusively for cost savings.

Adobe Does. You can call 800-42-ADOBE ( 800-422-3623).

I see. I could not find that number or service while setting up a test meeting. I am assuming that it should be in the audio conference settings, but it is not there. Additionally, information on the Adobe website indicated that it would also be in my Adobe Connect Trial email, but it wasn't.

All that said, how do I set up the audio settings for participants to include the 800 number?

Ah, I misunderstood your request. No, Adobe does not provide telephone service with Connect. However you can use any provider you would like using the Universal Voice function, Setting Up Universal Voice - Adobe Connect User Community, or if you want to use the fully integrated providers (I'm looking to see if I can dig up any documentation on that).
