Hi Adobe Community,
Just finished my trial of Adobe Lightroom CC in my PC (Windows 7).
Decided to buy the desktop version of Lightroom 6.
Already downloaded and was about hit the install but thought I'd post my question here first.
Do I need to uninstall the Lightroom CC (Trial) first on the PC?
As the trial period has finished I have been prompted to type in a code, which I now have, not sure if that can be used for the trial Lightroom CC I have on my PC now.
I have a fair few photos in the catalogue atm and would not want to loose any data.
Advice before I hit the install button and mess everything up?
Cheers
Nick
No need to uninstall CC. Enter your serial number to convert it to perpetually licensed version 6.

Hey John,
It's worked! Thanks heaps for the quick reply.
Just to elaborate on your instructions:
Open the origianal trial version of the software (in my case it was expired)
HELP>SIGNOUT (your user id)
HELP>SIGN IN>Enter your user id and password
You will then be prompted for the serial which you should already have had emailed to you from Adobe
Back in action!
Thanks again John, you saved me about 30 min of uninstalling and reinstalling the app and catalogue.
