Can I install CS5 Production Premium in Windows 10

I have a desktop computer initially with Windows 7 and I was able to successfully install CS5 Production Premium.  I eventually updated to Windows 8 and 8.1.  I also updated to Windows 10 as soon as it became widely available.  The CS5 suite has worked great under all operating systems (including Windows 10).  I was having Windows 10 OS issues that were too difficult to analyze and was instructed to do a  "Reset This PC" to do a nearly clean install of Windows 10.  Doing so requires me to install all my old applications.  I started first with CS5.  Most of the applications installed but I got a number of errors [ - 0 fatal error(s), 92 error(s), 125 warning(s)].

An idea that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10

I tried changing the compatibility to Windows 7, but it did not resolve the issue.  Any other suggestions?

If the Microsoft process I linked to does not work, then I know of no way to get old programs to work with Win10

Since CS5 is no longer supported or updated by Adobe, I know of no other support solutions

Thanks John, I have searched long and hard and have come to the realization that CS5 is NOT compatible with Windows 10 64bit.  If you have CS5 already installed prior to upgrading to Windows 10, it will work.  However, I found Windows 10 to be unstable with that setup.  I could not determine if the problems I was experiencing was due to CS5 or other issues.  I did finally do a clean install of Windows 10 and CS5 was the only application I could not re-install.  Windows 10 is now working great but no CS5 64bit apps. The apps that did install were: Bridge; Device Central; Encore; ExtendScript Toolkit; Extension Manager; Flash Catalyst; Flash Professional; Illustrator; Media Encoder; OnLocation; Photoshop; Pixel Bender Toolkit2; Soundbooth; Mocha for After Effects.

I have NOT fully tested all of these programs, but they seem to be working.

Looking back at your 1st message, I see Photoshop and Encore... so you might want to take a look at the current Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundle for pictures and video

John, that's a great idea.  Is there a chart showing the differences between Premiere and Elements (as well as Photoshop and Elements)?  I have been using Premiere and Photoshop since they first came out in the early 90's.  I had my own business back then and have since retired.  I have been using them primarily for family videos/photos now.  So elements may be the best way to go after all.  I don't want to be pennywise and pound foolish, which is why I would like to see a comparison chart to be sure I am not giving up any critical features that I perceive I still need.
