Error 1935 when reinstalling PS elements 9?

I've purchased PS Elements 9 & recently have my computer upgraded & my Elements program was wiped out.  When trying to reinstall with the CD I get Error 1935....

You need to provide us more details like OS and Install logs.

I can't find the install logs.

I can get to: Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe.... but there is not "Installers" or anything that ends with ".log"

What should I look for?

Look under :- Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe \ Installers , here you will find the log as mentioned in the article mentioned above.

Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 9/.... my next opitions to choose are:

Assets

Legal

Locales

OBLRes

Optional Plug-Ins

Plug-Ins

Thanx for the additional info. regarding files and folder in program files.

It seems you have to uninstall the Elements 9 completly as there are some component left over from the previous installation.

follow the steps in this link to completly remove Elements 9 :- http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/manually-remove-photoshop-elements-9.html

Restart your machine , and then check.

Uninstalled or deleted everything I could find related to Adobe & PS9, then restarted...but still same error when trying to install.
