How do I install Lightroom 2 on computer with no disc drive?

I bought Lightroom 2 back when I was in college and absolutely love it! I just got a new computer that does not have a disc drive and Lightroom 2 is not available in the Adobe Downloads & Install section. I tried getting help through Adobe Chat, but they stated I had to go here. Does anyone know how I can install Lightroom 2 on my new computer?

This isn't new, but you may still be able to Buy Lightroom 6 for a one time fee https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2445214

Do check the system requirements before buying to be sure Lr-6 is 64bit

LR 6 is not receiving updates anymore.

    Buy a USB disk drive

    HOWEVER

A program that is old enough that you can't download it from Adobe may not work on a new computer

You should always specify computer type and operating system version when asking a question

CS6 and earlier programs HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED AND WILL NOT BE UPDATED for Mac El Capitan or newer operating systems

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems due to Apple updates

-this is about CS6 (which is from 2012) but it will probably apply to other programs of that age

-Apple did not maintain backward compatibility with old programs in El Capitan or newer operating systems

--Adobe has a workaround to Apple's problem of not maintaining backward compatibility

--READ HERE https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2301916 for an Adobe solution to installing old programs, including a link to installing the old Java runtime that is required

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10

-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... this says Encore, but is sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account) so follow the instructions, substituting the name and location of your specific program for Encore

    -also https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/create-local-administrator-account-windows.html

Thanks John, my apologies for not including the computer as I have never use the forum before. It is an iMac currently running Mojave. I did not think about the fact that the newer computer may not be able to run an old program.

Sorry but Lightroom 2 is too old.  I think your best option now is to subscribe to the Photography Plan for $9.99/month for 12 months.
