I'm attempting to install Creative Cloud on a windows server (OS is 2012 R2), and am running into some installation errors. I understand that this is not a supported operating system for use, but, in theory, the application should at least install, right? The credentials I am using have full admin access to both the source installer files and the server itself, so it is not a permission issue.
In the setup logs, I just see the following line over and over again each time I attempt to launch the installer:
<Date> | [ERROR] | | OOBE | DE | | | | 7092 | Cannot open mediadb
I also see the following crash information in the event logs:
Faulting application name: Set-up.dat, version: 2.8.1.451, time stamp: 0x543e90de
Faulting module name: Set-up.dat, version: 2.8.1.451, time stamp: 0x543e90de

Has anyone seen these errors before? Am I wrong to assume that the CC suite should install on a windows server? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
If any additional information is needed for troubleshooting/debugging, please let me know.

C_WC I would recommend reviewing the installation log files for the installation. You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC. You are welcome to post any specific errors to this discussion.
Also I would recommend installing and utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud applications in support environments. You can find the system requirements at System requirements | Creative Cloud.
