Adobe illustrator Configuration error: 1

Adobe Illustrator won't open because of an error. The error says:

Configuration error

"Please uninstall and reinstall the product.

If this problem still occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen.

Error: 1

reinstalled it multiple times already and still deosnt work tried the describtion in adobe support and didnt worked aswell

I've had the same problem too, I've used the cleaner tool and everything. My Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 has been working fine up until yesterday.

What OS are both of you running? Please include when posting is very helpful to answer your posts, and for data collection on this issue and which OS is most susceptible.

Exactly how did you uninstall. Did you use the cleaner?
