I don't even know that to call this one. Below I attached an image of treble clefs, One is solid, another one is dashed. How can I convert from solid to single line dashed or dotted?

Thanks

    • Use the Curvature Tool to create artwork
    • Open "Stroke Panel" and apply the Dashed Line

*optional to get a non-uniform curve

    Apply “Variable Width Profile” options

Use the “Width Tool” and tweak curves

You can add an Adobe Feature Request here:

    Feature Request/Bug Report Form

Just ask for a "Treble Clef" auto-single-path-generator button.

I would be creating a path with the Pen Tool and then applying a dashed stroke.

Are you looking for an automatic method that wouldn't require drawing paths?

Like Doug has already said, there is no automatic method to do this. Apologies if my first answer wasn't clear.

The best way to approach this would be to learn some basic path drawing skills and then apply a dashed stroke.

This page from Adobe would be an excellent place to start…
