Is there a way for you to export an asset without it being put into a folder?

After I recently updated to Illustrator CC 2018, I've noticed that when I export something using the "Asset Export" panel it automatically puts the asset into a folder based on it's scale such as: 1x, 2x, 72ppi etc. Before I updated, it would export the single asset you selected without putting it into a folder.

Long story short, is there a way you can export something without putting it into a folder using the "Asset Export" panel?

Many Thanks

Yes there is an option (in the panel's fly out menu) "Create Subfolders", turn it off.

Hi Thanks for sharing your concern,

this is the new implementation which we have done where we create separate folders for each export type,

if you do not want to have separate folders for each type, you can simply unchecked the option "Create sub-folders" while exporting.

un-checking this will export your assets in the folder defined by you in panel, no sub folders categories by scale and format

Hope this will work for you.
