TTC fonts

My adobe programmes dont recognise some  TTC fonts?  Any idea why?

Are you running a PC or Mac?  Did you mean "True Type" fonts?  If you load a PC font on a Mac or a Mac font on a PC, you might not be able to use it due to compatability issues.  Just a hunch.

PC TT shouldn't be a problem on the Mac.

I had to look up TTC as well. Seems to be a special kind of TrueType font: a TrueType collection. Maybe like a family. I have never seen those.

On Mac OS there are lots of them in System > Library > Fonts.

Ususally you don't mess with the fonts in that folder.

Illustrator seems to be able to see and use them.
