Using TrueType (ttf) fonts?

I have found a font that matches what I need, but could only find it in a Truetype format. Is there a way for me to load this font so that I can use it in Ai??

Illustrator will use True Type fonts. They just need to be installed on your computer. John gave you the directions for installing if you are on Windows.
