Using InDesign CC - I imported a Word document into InDesign. My copyright date was appears as 2016 in all formats previously done - Word, Kindle, Calibre. In InDesign it shows correctly - until I export it to epub, which then converts into Hebrew. That is the only text that did not convert correctly. I have specified the font as Times New Roman, normal style, and mainbody style and nothing makes a difference. Any idea how this happens and how to correct it? THANK YOU!

I will help others, who may have the answer, if you state your version of InDesign and OS and whether you're exporting to FXL ePub or Reflowable ePub.
It might be worth opening the ePub to see if you can ascertain what's going on, also try the free ePub validator: EPUB Validator (beta)

I'm using the most current version of InDesign in Windows 10, and exported the file to Reflowable ePub. I was finally able to fix it by typing the correct date in normal style and copying and pasting it to replace the troublesome data. It's fixed, but I would still like to know how English got translated to Hebrew...

I had this problem and discovered that sections that converted to Hebrew were not using the English Dictionary. Highlight all your text, the go to the character panel and at the bottom for language select English: USA or whatever language you are publishing in.
