Is it possible to delete hidden cache files? Is there a folder I can find with "terminal"?

    Correct answer Tai_Lao

What if I said my capacity is 297.77 and I have 266.2 gb available.

and that when I work with large files this error seems to tell me that I'm working with to much. Is there a way besides limiting the space that photoshop is able to use.

I know this problem screams "buy another hard drive!!" but I digress.

I know of no earthly way a user can "limit the [hard drive] space that Photoshop is able to use".  What you can control in Ps Preferences > Performance is the amount of available memory (RAM) Photoshop is allowed to use.  But that has nothing to do with your issue or anything else being discussed in this thread.

All cache files that should be deleted, get deleted when you exit Photoshop.

What are you trying to accomplish?

I have little free disk space available as I've been working with large files. I am hoping to solve this problem that keeps arising without having to buy a new harddrive?

Sorry: you're either going to have to delete files, or get another hard disk.
