Image Stretching Program Help

Hi. I'm running a online network for modern arts and I am trying to collaborate with images at the moment with a slide of images. I only know paint and it distorts when I stretch images. Anyone know an adobe program where images can be stretched with ease, I've searched google for image stretching yet nothing has worked.

To resize your image, go to Image > Image Size.  See screenshot. 

Adjust width as needed.  Hit OK.   The link icon between width and height indicates the aspect ratio will be preserved.  If turned off, the aspect ratio can be changed.

I am using Photoshop CC from the Adobe Creative Cloud Plan.
