New Mac Mini Cores vs Ram?

Hi.

Now that the new mac mini is announced Mac mini - Apple  should I get more cores or more ram or both for photoshop CC?

Are 4 cores enough or can photoshop CC actually access all 6 cores?

I do deal with large 40MB raw files.

    For Photoshop, what you need most of all is an efficient scratch disk setup. That is the most critical link in the chain.

    With big files, you never have enough RAM anyway, however much you have, and most of the activity is scratch disk. The new M.2 SSDs are so fast that for all practical purposes it's no longer the bottleneck it once was.
