is it normal to have library/application support/adobe/plug-ins and then cc+cs6 ? This is fresh install of CS6 PS updated to 13.0.6 NOT CC cause for some reason the filmconvert plug-in is installing to library/application support/adobe/plugins/cc/filters/filmconvert It's supposed to install to /applications/adobe photoshop cs6/plugins/filters but there is NO filters just Panels. I know this is normal .Was this changed from the update?
Have tried additional plugin paths, alias to and drag/drop copy/paste which when I do it shows up within photoshop finally, but when you try to open the plugin in depending where I dragged the app or the pathway I HAVE gotten 2 messages , mostly,
"COULD NOT COMPLETE THE FILMCONVERT COMMAND BECAUSE THE FILE WAS NOT FOUND"
The other from adobe bridge/file open w/CS6(default) and also with dropping in common/mediacore/plugins get message:
"COULD NOT COMPLETE YOUR REQUEST BECAUSE PHOTOSHOP DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THIS TYPE OF FILE"
UNDER SYSTEM INFO:
primary plugins folder:applications/adobe photoshop cs6/plugins/
Any help would be appreciated as I really just need to know if My photoshop cs6 is installed correctly and if this is something wrong with film convert's installer/software. According to system info all seems ok but even with the installation path mentioned above it says NO THIRD PARTY PLUGINS INSTALLED
go figure? Thank you for your time if you choose this mission,
J
