PS CC VERY Slow after Mohave Update on iMac

A few days ago I updated my iMac OS to Mohave. Ever since, Photoshop has been excruciatingly slow. As an example, I have placed text on a photo. When I click into the text to make edits, everything stops, then the color progress wheel starts up and continues for a very long time.

Today I realized that I had an update from PS CC 2018 to PS CC 2019 so I was thrilled to think my problems would be solved.  Nope; no such luck.  Even after restarting the Mac after the update, no improvement.  Also checked the Activity Monitor and PS is the only thing that is having a problem.  If its important to know, my processor is 3.6 GHz Intel Core i7

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks a bunch.

Same problem here. I'm using mac 2012 i7 16gb and with Sierra every Adobe software was alright. When I updated to Mojave, everything is slow and even very simple tasks as resize an image takes time.

I have same problem too and would be interested to find out how to fix it. I have an iMac (2017) and photoshop is already checked in the privacy and security section, so not sure what to do. Anyone found a solution yet? Photoshop is so slow to work with.

I removed all the crashes from Library/Application Support/CrashReporter

Not sure if that is the solution but the spinnig wheel is gone.

    same issue.

I've an "old" macbook pro (2011) which macOS Mojave is not available, and any creative cloud app works just fine and faster.

in the other hand, the computer that I use to work and edit photos and videos, 5mb project takes 10/15min to open and keeps crashing when I try change something.

The privacy settings are all checked in.

There were some changes to the way things work on the OS > Is Photoshop Checked in the Control Panel > Security and Privacy?

    It might be the cause...

It is checked.  When I dowloaded the new software I did not accept that change but saw that it would cause problems so I made that change.  Thanks for checking to see if that helped.
