WOops !  You wanted me to press the rotate tool but I don't know which one that is ???

Look in the help under "rotate view tool".

Also, Apple made some of their trackpads a bit sensitive to rotation gestures, so there is an optional extension to disable trackpad gestures.

First thing is that in older versions "R" used to select the blur tool and now it selects the rotate tool.

To straighten the document, double click the rotate tool in the Tools panel.

I clicked the blur tool and it didn't do anything.  So far the only thing I can do to get the document straightened is to press control + escape.
