Photoshop CC 2019 apple CMM with devicelink profile is different to Photoshop CC 2018

Hello Everyone,

it seems, that there is a difference with the Apple CMM in Adobe Photoshop 2019 (newest version) with regard to Photoshop 2018.

We convert images with a devicelink profile (customerspecific_ISOcoated to PSOCoated)  by using the Apple CMM and discover that there is a difference between the conversion in Photoshop 2018 and 2019. After the conversion the image has more yellow in the grey areas, in contrast to Photoshop 2018.

The Adobe ACE engine works fine in both versions without the difference in conversion. "Unfortunately", we have to stick to the customer's specifications (we have to use Apple CMM).

Is it possible that Adobe or Apple changes the calculation in the color engine? Or could it be a bug?

We work on Mac OS Mojave (latest update).

Thanks for help and your experiences.

Kind regards,

Steve
