Please make it to where you can place multiple linked files at the same time

Adobe,

If you are seeing this could you please add in the ability in Photoshop to place multiple linked files at the same time. Currently, I am only able to place one at a time and it is a bit of a pain.

      What you want is actually possible right now, but it takes a slightly different way that isn't widely documented. But it isn't done through the Place Linked command. It's possible through drag and drop.

      1. Outside of Photoshop, open a list of the multiple images (in a folder on the desktop, Lightroom, Bridge…).
      2. Select the images you want to placed as linked files.
      3. Drag them all to your Photoshop document, but don't drop yet.
      4. Before you release the mouse button, hold the Option/Alt key, then release the mouse button. The Option or Alt key tells Photoshop to place the dropped images as linked Smart Objects.
      5. If you see transformation handles around the first image, this is an opportunity to move or resize this image; if you like how it is press Return or Enter to complete the import. If you are importing 5 images you'll have to press Return/Enter 5 times.
      6. The Layers panel should now indicate that all of the images you just placed are linked Smart Objects.

       

      If that doesn't do what you want, then you probably do want to file a feature request that people can vote for at the feedback.photoshop.com link that Szalam posted.
