As of today (6 Dec 2023), my Adobe Pro 2017 still cannot print with macOS Sonoma (when it worked just fine before the Sonoma update). As a workaround, I downloaded Adobe Reader, which I can print with. This two-program solution is a bit annoying, but it works for now.

I'm having the same problem. My short term work around is to open the PDF with Adobe Reader and print from there. I hope Adobe updates Acrobat soon though. Very frustrating that they're not on the same page as Apple.

What version of Acrobat do you have?

I resolved it by uninstalling and then reinstalling Adobe and the problem was resolved

Having the same problem and spent yesterday monring on the phone with apple support.  They say it is an adobe problem that needs to be resolved with sonoma capatibility.

Apple released macOS 14.1 and Acrobat Pro 2020 still doesn't print. Would be good, to see an Adobe update on this.

Acrobat 2020 printed well before Sonoma. As Sonoma was the change on your computer, Sonoma introduced the issues. You will need to be careful, not to update immediatly. I'm on Windows, and my computers all support Windows 11. I still stick with Windows 10, because my programs run well under Windows 10. Sure, I will upgrade soon, but I won't be hit with incompatibility issues…

Same for me, using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017. Another reported the same problem for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020, which is listed as Sonoma compatible by Adobe. Hope for a fix from Apple or Adobe. Printing from "Preview" works fine.

Previewis not an Acrobat replacement. Not all of PDF is supported in Preview. You are all bashing Adobe for not updating the software fast enough. But why not bash Apple for changing how the program can access the printer?

Acrobat 2017 is EOL. You should not update to Sonoma if you want to stick with Acrobat 2017. Acrobat 2020 is still supported, so you can expect an update for that one, if it isn't out now. Adobe solved the printing issue for Acrobat DC and I suppose the problems are similar.
