180MB PDF file commeting

I just received a PDF created from what it seems AutoCAD and with 4380 comments.

I try to add a comments, but adobe locks up.  It starts to use almost 1gb of memory and tax my network throughput.

Is the problem the 4380 comments or something else that I need to check out?

Anything else that I can take a look at?

TIA

The issue is most likely the amount of comments in the file, yes, plus the fact that Acrobat (for Windows) is a 32-bit application with terrible memory handling functions.

Yes, I printed the document to a PDF without the 4380 comments and it works!

SO yes, the amount of the comments was nuts

Thanks.

To add I am using Adobe Acrobat DC.

I just tried it and it works (still slow, but it works) in Acrobat Pro 9.
