3rd Party PlugIn from Heidelberg (PDF Toolbox) doesn't start after your last update

Hi.

The newest version of Acrobat DC (20048) seems to be incompatible with one of our plugins.

The Heidelberg PDF Toolbox. Any idea, what causes the problem? Any idea, when it will be fixed?

OS X 10.14.6

Plug-ins often need fixes and changes when you allow Acrobat to update. Contact the maker (Callas make pdfToolbox, if it is the same app). http://www.callas.de/

First I don't allow CC to update automatically. Always do that after a while with CC-App. But as I just saw, Acrobat also has a setting to update by itself and not over the CC-App...!! And that was activated. No clue, why there even is an option like that. And I contacted Heidelberg first. As about "a few" other users with the same problem since the weekend. And what did they say? Please contact Adobe...!! So it is a bit like ping-pong now...!!

Adobe do not interest themselves in whether third party plug-ins work. They cannot fix them, because they do not make them, own them, or test them. So you need to contact support for the plug-in. So you need to get back to Heidelberg (or Callas, if it is the Callas product). I would hope for better service from Heidelberg, be persistent.

Same problem. How can I roll back to earlier version of Acrobat DC?

So, used Time Machine backup and rolled back to an older version of Acrobat. 2019.012.20040.

Now it is running again. Just be sure to turn of the automatic updates in Acrobat Settings.

You can also install an old version of Acrobat DC (15-17-19) and then, make the update to the last version working with the PDF ToolBox Assistance  (19-012-20040).  You can download the 19-012-20040 update directly from the Adobe public FTP here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/mac/AcrobatDC/1901220040/
