a charge for the edit extension ?

I got a pop-up suggesting I add an extension for editing and converting Adobe pdf docs to Word docs.  I could just click to add it but is it free of charge?

This is either a paid-for web-based service Adobe offers, or it's an upgrade from Reader to Acrobat. Either way, you have to pay to be able to use it, yes.
