Accessible Forms with weblinks or email addresses

I'm trying to create 508 compliant forms that include either web addresses or email links and for some reason the "read aloud" feature won't recognize the text.  I've tried tagging the content with no success.  These links tend to be hyperlinked into the document rather than visible text, but the "read aloud" won't recognize either the visible text or the hyperlinked text.
