Acobat Dc Compressing Character Spacing

Question

Apparently I've adjusted a setting somewhere that's causing Acrobat DC to compress the character spacing of documents created from MSWord - doesn't matter if I create a new PDF from inside Acorbat DC, or Save As PDF from inside Word. Here's what the output looks like. Font is Calibri - and verified to be imbedded. Any ideas?

Can you also state in which operating system are you using Acrobat?

And what is the latest version update that was applied to your Acrobat?

You can try and reset Adobe Acrobat preferences using the steps provided in this guidance: Restore (re-create) Preferences

Scroll down or click on navigation link in that page " Restore Preferences ".

There are step by step instructions provided for both Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.
