Acrobat 2023.008.20555 Doesn't Upgrade

Not only does this version lack a "Check for Updates" option in the menu, it has a scheduled task that is named "Adobe Accrobat Update Task" that had never run before I manually launched it, and if it did anything when that happened, I've seen no evidence of it. Help / About still reports 2023.008.20555.

Tenable is complaining because I'm not up to date therefore vulnerable (APSB24-70) and wants me to run version 2024003.20112. The application lacks any kind of update capability in its menus, which is unbelievable.

Going to the Creative Cloud site, it shows my install Acrobat is the latest:

That's just not right.

So ... how do I update when the tools think last year's code is up to date?

Thanks for sharing the requested information. As per the logs, you have feature lockdown set on the machine to disable auto-updates, hence no updates are agetting applied. Please change the below key value to 1 to enable auto -updates

Could you please share the following information to help debug the issue

1. export of registry hive HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe

2. AdobeARM.log from user's Temp folder (%Temp%)

As a workaround you can try downloading the latest patch from https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/continuous/dccontinuoussep2024.html#dccontinuousseptwentytwentyfour and run it manually to update to latest version.
