Acrobat 25.1 update Fails

Acrobat 25.1 shows as an update in Creative Clud desktop app. Update fails after running through progress.

Currently running Acrobat 2025.001.20438
OSX Sequioa 15.4. Mac Studio M1

Sorry for the troubled experience, and thank you for reaching out. 

 

I have heard of a few reports like it, let's try the following steps and see how it works for you:

1. Launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates. 

2. Close Acrobat once updated and Sign off from the Creative Cloud App. And Close Creative Cloud app as well

3. Restart the machine, if possible.

4. Launch the Creative Cloud App sign-in, and check if the issue persists. 

 

If the issue persists, help us with the following:

1. Acrobat version: https://adobe.ly/42tSPWd

2. Creative Cloud app version number.

3. Error message if it appears to be the same or not (preferably a screenshot).

4. OS name and version.

I’ve been having the same problem for months now. Running Acrobat 25.001.20577 on a Macbook Pro M4, Mac OS 15.6 (and a few previous versions as well). Acrobat refuses to update to 25.1. I’ve tried the steps you mention. Even uninstalled Acrobat, signed off, restarted. But Creative Cloud (version 6.7.0.278) still maintains there is an update for the Acrobat version I just uninstalled. When running the updater it just re-installs version 25.001.20577. When I try to run the updater again it stops after about 80% and just says ‘Update failed’ in Creative Cloud. No error code.

Acrobat just updated to 25.001.20623. Update to 25.1 still fails @ 45%.
