Acrobat 8.1

Ive obtained the new serial key and installed the Akami software in order to download the exe file for the 'set up files' for Adobe Acrobat 8.1. The installer is not working (bootstrapper), getting a 1935 error.

Need to complete a clean install.

Ive managed to uninstall the corrupted program but need to reinstall now and am running into difficulties.

Hi Elitespooner,

Adobe Acrobat 8.1 is an old and unsupported version of the application.

It may or may not work with the latest Windows OS version available.

However, you may try the troubleshooting steps provided for Error 1935 in this help document Acrobat or Reader installation fails giving error 1935 on Windows
