Acrobat 8 Pro Authorization Code [Acrobat 8 is dead]

I have Acrobat 8 Pro and have been using it for years.  Added it to my Windows 10 PC a few years ago and have had very few problems (only 1 in printing but that is not what I'm writing about).  I just tried to use it and it popped up that I no longer had temporary usage abilities and needed to activate it.  It won't connect via internet and the phone activation number is disconnected.  How do I get an Authorization Code?  One step I found stated I had to uninstall and reinstall with a new Serial Number....ridiculous!  It also wanted me to download some installer program that Windows Defender flags and stops!  Help.
