Acrobat bug - 10 inches

New Here ,
Mar 07, 2025 Mar 07, 2025

Usually, when I scan a document, Acrobat retains the settings from the previous scan.

Except when the measurement (either length or width, doesn't matter) is exactly 10 inches. In that case, when I go back the measurement will reset to 1 inch.

This is easy to work around by using measurements like 9.99" or 10.01", but I recently changed computers and operating systems and the problem persisted, so I figured it was definitely a bug on the Adobe end, instead of on my end.

Hi, @rachael_2728, you'll need to check with your scanner's software for an answer. Acrobat has no scanning capability whatsoever. Instead, it uses software called "Twain" that breaches the link between the scanning software and any other application that wishes to use it. I can provide no guidance on what to look for because I have no idea what scanner you have and probably have never encountered the scanner's software.

Sorry I cannot help you more, but hopefully you now know who to contact for support.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing the version of the OS and the Acrobat App you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure its updated to the latest version 25.01.20428, go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

What is the workflow/steps you are taking?  A small video recording of the steps and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful for more clarity and understanding

We are here for help, just need more info.
