Acrobat bug zooming on page?

Community Beginner ,
May 02, 2025 May 02, 2025

This just started happening with Acrobat (Apple OS): I'm on a specific page and I try to zoom in or out, or fit page in window and it jumps to a page seemingly random in the file. For example, I'm on page 20 of a PDF, zoom or fit in window and it jumps to page 53. Known issue? Fixes?

You're lucky, when I hit CTRL - to zoom out, it creates a comment note (which I then delete via the comments panel).

😞

^^It does seem to only happen when the bookmark tab is open on the sidebar

You're really lucky, my Acrobat always does. In any case.

Yeah mine is the same now. Whats worse is that its been over 2 months since Adobe announced they will address it, yet it is still happening to me.

I've used this application for over 30 years. Never had a problem quite like this (using current version on Apple OS). Adobe needs to address this in an update. It is so frustrating. Any method of zooming should remain on the current page, not jump randomly all over the document.

Same here. MacOS, new Acrobat UI, mostly A4 format documents.
What's crazy is that it not only happens with the CMD + Shortcut, but also with the UI button, at first i figured it might be a typo in Adobes non-standard shortcuts.

As far as i can tell, crossing/selecting the threshhold of 100% very likely results in problems, but other than that it is inconsistent. Changing between 100% and 105% (One step of CMD +/- in my case) lets me randomly jump through the document.
