Acrobat can't find my Brother MFC-7840W scanner

Acrobat Standard 2020 was working perfectly on my Dell laptop (Win 10) & Brother printer/scanner until the network interface card (LAN) on the Brother crapped out. I reconnected the Brother to my network thru wi-fi. Now Acrobat sees it as a printer but cannot find it as a scanner. How do I get Acrobat to recognize scanner now?

You may have to re-install the driver for the device and configure it to use the new interface. If that does not work, you may have to get in touch with Brother's customer support.
