Acrobat DC Error 16 on Windows 10

I am encountering a persistent Error 16 when attempting to open Acrobat DC in Windows 10.  I uninstalled and reinstalled too many times to count and adjusted permissions ad nauseum.  Other options?  I did manage to get this program running on another PC (also Windows 10) so I am at a loss as to why it is not responding here.  Thank you for any all help that you can provide.  Susan

Hi Wollmanst,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are getting error 16 when trying to launch Acrobat on your Windows 10 machine, is that correct?

Could you try following troubleshooting steps:

1- Try launching Acrobat as an administrator and check if that works. You may refer to the steps given in this link for the same: Run an Adobe program as administrator | Windows 7, Vista

2- If that doesn't work, try enabling admin account on the machine and launch Acrobat from there: How to enable the hidden administrator in windows 10 - Microsoft Community

3- If issue still persists, contact our support using this link: Contact Customer Care (sign in with your Adobe ID to begin > select account issues > Adobe ID and signing in > show me my contact options > and select from chat or phone).

Thank You,

Shivam
