We're using windows 10 1809 enterprise and having the same problem.

Users get the following error: c:\Program Files\WindowsApps\AcrobatNotificationClient_1.0.4.0_x86__e1rzdqpraam7r\FullTrustNotifier... The specified user does not have a valid profile.

So far i have two users with the same problem. Adobe Acrobat still works but the error message comes up randomly.

Can someone please help? I have tried to reinstall Adobe Acrobat DC

Solution:

Step 1:  Uninstall "Notification Manager for Adobe Acrobat"

Click on start menu -> Search for above app -> Right click-> Uninstall.

Step 2:  Delete the following registry key

     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\Installer\NotificationAppx

That is awesome!!

How were you able to narrow it down in two simple steps?

I will post back with some info.

Meanwhile, can you tell if you got this issue after updates were applied in your Windows machines?

Just today a new Acrobat DC update was published.

If you haven't apply it yet try that first.

Also, check the Trust Manager preferences in Acrobat and try to spot if something changed.

And also see if recreating a new user profile solves the issue.

You can also use  a good known working computer with the same specs as the misbehaving computers to compare the settings that should be working.

As a last resort, if all suggestions above fail, You can also try and disable the Creative Cloud Desktop app, then uninstall your current product using the Adobe Acrobat and Reader Cleanup and Repair tool:

https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

And then reinstall but using the full offline installer. You can get it from here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Just for troublshooting purpose don't use the Creative Cloud installation method.

Ok,

Here it is a possible solution.

See the following thread posted by user Ana Camps in the microsoft support forums:

There are to specific links that describe the work around about User folder permissions.
