For some readon my Actobat DC stops working in my windows server 2012, when I try to launch acrobat a second blank windows appears ( like a popup message ) and when I close it the entire acrobat close too, this happens opening the acrobat icon and pdf files.

I reinstall the software but didn't work, I tried to check the preferences option

and I unselect some options about show something when start the acrobat. but any of this options stops showing the blank window. ( I can access the preferences option before the blank window appears  but then appears again when I close preferences window )

Is this happening in your Windows Server 2012 after the most recent update of Acrobat was applied?  If you're able to confirm that your Acrobat was updated to version 2020.006.20042 would it make the problem disappear if you roll back to version 2020.006.20034?

I believe Windows Server 2012 reached End of Life in January 2020. Unless you have Windows Server 2012 R2 version you're left with three more years of support and updates for that version according to Microsoft announcements; they're strongly recommending to upgrade.

However, If you're able to reboot in Safe Mode and edit the Preferences settings of Acrobat in Safe Mode, would it be convenient to also check if you need to log on with the primary administrator account in that server? Can you perform an installation repair in Safe Mode?

OR,

Was Adobe Acrobat working fine before without any problems and this just happened out of the blue?

Were there any recent changes enforced in the Group Policy administrative template ?

Are you using both Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader simultaneously?

Which program is the default PDF handler/viewer in your Win Server? Is Internet Explorer using any Adobe Acrobat Internet Access plug-ins? What happens if you disable them?

If you are using Adobe Reader, try this:

navigate in Windows Explorer to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\Eula.exe

Double-click on the end user license agreement "Eula.exe" to open it, and Accept the Agreement, reboot the computer and see if any of this works (even if it doesn't make reasonable sense)
